At UnbrandedProducts.co.uk, we want you to be happy with your purchase. We also want to make sure our returns process is fair, straightforward and clear for everyone.

This policy is intended to comply with applicable UK consumer protection law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

1. Change-of-Mind Returns
We understand that sometimes you may change your mind about a purchase.
For online purchases, you generally have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, subject to the applicable legal requirements.
IMPORTANT – USED APPLIANCES
We do not accept used appliances as change-of-mind returns.
If you are considering returning your Swallow Maker because you have changed your mind, please do not use it.
You may inspect the appliance reasonably, as you would in a shop, but do not cook food, add ingredients or liquids, or operate the appliance for normal use.
Once the appliance has been used for its intended purpose, it is not an unused change-of-mind return. Where permitted by UK law, any refund may be reduced to reflect the loss in value caused by use or handling beyond what was reasonably necessary to inspect the product.
If the appliance is genuinely faulty, defective, not as described or not fit for purpose, your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
A quick and important note about appliances
Because our products include electrical and kitchen appliances, we ask that you please don’t use the appliance if you are considering returning it because you’ve changed your mind.
You are welcome to inspect the product in a reasonable way, similar to how you would inspect an item in a shop.
However, we cannot accept a product as an unused change-of-mind return after it has been used for its intended purpose.
For example, with a Swallow Maker, please don’t:

Prepare or cook food in it;

Put ingredients or liquids into it;

Run it for normal food preparation;

Use it repeatedly;

Wash it after using it; or
-
Otherwise use it as you would normally use the appliance.
If you’re unsure whether you want to keep the appliance, please inspect it without using it and contact us if you have any questions.
Where goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them, UK law may allow a deduction from a refund to reflect any reduction in value.

3. Faulty Products
Our unused-product return requirements do not affect your legal rights if a product develops a genuine fault.

Depending on the circumstances, UK consumer law may provide rights to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
4. Please Don’t Attempt Your Own Repairs
For your safety and to prevent further damage, please don’t open, dismantle or attempt to repair the appliance yourself.

If an appliance has been opened, modified or repaired by the customer or an unauthorised third party and this has caused or contributed to the problem, this may affect the available remedy to the extent permitted by UK law.
We will always consider the circumstances of the reported fault and your statutory rights.
5. Products Should Be Returned in Good Condition
If you are returning an unused product because you’ve changed your mind, please return it in the condition in which you received it.
Where possible, please include:

Accessories;

Manuals;

Components;
-
Protective materials; and
-
Any other items supplied with the product.
Please package the item securely so that it is protected during return transportation.
If the product has been damaged or its value has been reduced because it has been handled beyond what was reasonably necessary to inspect it, we may make a lawful deduction from your refund.
6. Return Postage
For a change-of-mind return, you will normally be responsible for the direct cost of returning the product to us, unless we have agreed otherwise.
We recommend using a tracked delivery service and keeping your proof of postage.
If the product is faulty, damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us before returning it, and we will advise you about the return process.
7. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If your product arrives damaged, is faulty, doesn’t work as it should or is different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible.
We may ask for photographs or a short video to help us understand the issue.
Please don’t attempt to repair the product yourself.

8. Damage Caused by Use or Misuse

9. Refunds
Where you are legally entitled to a refund, we will process it in accordance with applicable UK law.
For a valid cancellation, this will normally include the price paid for the goods and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered by us.
Where legally permitted, a deduction may be made if the value of the product has been reduced because it was handled beyond what was reasonably necessary to inspect it.
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.
10. Return Inspection
Returned products may be inspected when they arrive back with us.
This allows us to check:

Whether it has been used;

Whether accessories are present;

Whether there is damage;

Whether there are signs of tampering or unauthorised repair; and

Whether the product has been returned in accordance with the applicable return requirements.

11. Unauthorised Repairs or Modifications
If you believe something is wrong with your product, please give us the opportunity to help before attempting to fix it yourself.
Opening or modifying an electrical appliance can be dangerous and can also cause additional damage.
If a customer or unauthorised third party repairs, modifies, rewires or dismantles a product and that action causes or contributes to the problem, we may not be responsible for the resulting damage, to the extent permitted by law.
Your statutory rights concerning genuine faults remain protected.
12. Missing Items or Accessories
Please make sure all accessories, components, manuals and other items supplied with your order are included when returning a product.
Missing items or damage caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the product may affect the value of the returned goods and, where permitted by law, may be reflected in the refund.
13. Original Packaging
We recommend keeping your original packaging until you are certain that you want to keep your purchase.
If you’re returning an item, please use the original packaging where reasonably possible, or suitable protective packaging.
We won’t automatically refuse a statutory return simply because the original packaging is unavailable where UK law does not permit us to do so.
14. Products Excluded From Cancellation Rights
UK law provides certain exceptions to the 14-day cancellation right for particular products and circumstances.
Where a legal exception applies, we will rely on it where appropriate.
